FEBA Girls Basketball
FEBA Girls Basketball is celebrating its 5th year as a premier AAU developmental program. FEBA is short for Folsom Elite Basketball Academy which relays the purpose of our program. In 2020 we expanded from being a program for boys only & fielded 2 girls teams for young ladies in search of a basketball experience that would challenge them by providing top notch training, quality competition & bring together like-minded boys & families who looked for similar experiences & teammates. Now we field teams from 3rd-8th grade!
Ages - Grades
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Girls: 3rd through 8th grade are welcome to join FEBA. Teams are constructed based on grade - not age.
When are Tryouts?
There will be 3 tryout sessions between August and May. All players must attend at least 2 nights of tryouts.

Tryouts will be held at
Different locations depending on the season. We get gyms when ever we can!!!
Tryout structure
Players will be evaluated on their individual basketball skills, understanding of the game & team concepts as well as ability to fill a role on a team. The top 8-10 players from each grade level will be invited to join a team.
Tryout cost
There is a one time $25 tryout fee that covers all tryout sessions.
What to bring to Tryouts
Players should wear a t-shirt or reversible jersey, and basketball shoes & shorts.
Players should also bring their own basketball & a water bottle.
Winter Season details
Practices begin in December and each team practices 2 times a week. Each practice is 1.5 hours long.
Tournaments begin December 21 & will be played every other weekend. This does not include the Holiday break.
The season will end on March 1

Try outs are the week of November 11.
Practices begin the week of December 2 or January 6.

2024-25 Winter Tryouts / Season
The 2025 Girls tryouts for our winter season will be held November 12 - 14 with practices beginning in December or January depending on facility availabilities. Players need to make at least 2 of the tryout sessions.
